Valentine Day

This is a back dated post of my 2009 valentine celebration… has been a month ago… No choice, I’ve been busy writing my back dated post for London and Paris trip somewhere October last year…. Me just sooooo lazy….

 14/2 is particularly important for me, as I am one who must celebrate every festive celebration….  Ya, even though I do believe everyday is Valentine if you truly love someone…. But, there must be a day for remembrance… and me even go ask bb if he is gonna give me flower the day before…. Hahahahaha, so tak malu…

But, I only request for a stalk of Rose, You know, for people who’s so keen on celebrations, there are some “my own rules” applied to these dates, like a flower is a must on Valentine, a present is a must on birthday, Christmas also must have present and New Year must have countdown….. hahahahaha

 Instead of spending a whole day walk with no target in a shopping mall, go to congested cinema to watch lame movie, jam all the way and spend on luxury dinner that have nothing more special than a candle lid in the middle of the table… We choose to have lunch… Good that its fall on a Saturday. Bb always let me decide where to have our meal and this time I chose La Bodega in Bangsar Shopping Complex.

 We suppose to met up at there… I took quite a long time to dress myself up for the date thus I arrived later. Bb is so sweet, keep on talking to me while I am driving there… But its ok, you are supposed to do sweet things on this sweet day. I ordered my all time favorite – Paella (Spanish Seafood rice) and I recommended Sangria to bb as drinks…

And BB ordered a Foei Gras (Goose Liver). Sangria is my Favorite cocktail, It’s a mixture of Red wine, brandy and mix fruits.. But BB doesn’t really like it!

 

We were served the Foei Gras first. Its my first time tasting it… I’m only adventurous at place, not food… despite BB’s recommendations, I ought to try it out… It’s just a small paste of goose liver with preserved fruits and soury sauce spread on the baguette… And it’s taste exactly like chicken liver… just buttery texture…. Not bad at all, but I don’t quite understand why its expensive…

 The Paella took more than 40 Mins to be served, Paella is Spanish seafood rice with mouthwatering seafood like Big fat mussels, prawns, squid ring and chicken fillet cubes and capsicums… A big pan for both of us… BB and me both love it!!!!

 

The lunch cost us about RM120+, even though it’s a bit costly for a lunch… but…. I feel so sinful for always going for expensive food.. But I will still continue doing it! (Evil Grin)

 Upon walking back… BB with lightning speed walk to a florist and took a bouquet of flower and pay and hand it to me…..  (BB so shy to give me flower?????) Nvm, and this is how my flower looks like… ( 3 Stalk of roses tie in a not fantastic packaging cost RM40, you business people very clever to make money lor!!!)

 

But the heart counts… so sweet of you BB, even you are load up with tight schedule, you still make effort to celebrate with me, even you are shy of giving a girl flowers you did it for me, and even this is not a super romantic Valentine you tailor made for me, but I don’t mind, cause we have better plan coming!!!

 Oh Ya, Sis have a special celebration as well; her bf brought her for a picnic in the hot sun! hahahahaha, bravo you Yaw!

Special Note: To those BTC anutie(Short form of Hokkien word meaning uneducated people), stop doing kiasu things like over taking my BB's car and stand on 2 parking lots to reserved place for your husband and daughter… No use of driving pretty Camry and Swift but doing car jockey job!!! CCTV’s watching you, God’s watching you!

A nightmare with Streamyx!

Have been on the line with Streamyx phone operator for almost 2 hours and yet still got my problem unsolved!!!

When i first call in to 100, there are options like this, untuk Bahasa Malaysia, tekan 1, for English, press 2... so i pressed 2!

The operator, Name Syed answer me like this : Selamat Pagi TM sedia membantu.

Me: Huh? Aren't you suppose to speakin english?

Syed: Oh ya, what can i help you?

So, i complained to him about my own domain email account are not able to send mails. Actually this kind of problems always happen in my work place, what you have to do is just wait, but thanks to our majesty product manager who complains non stop to my HQ side and i have to at least do something to keep her mouth shut! Please note, i am not an IT support staff in my company, somehow people push this responsibility to me after i did several IT troubleshooting stuff that amazed them.

After listening to my complaint, Operator Syed pretend to understand my problem, and ask a few "seems like related" questions.... and then, he tell me this: "We streamyx are not responsible for any other domain server, please contact your domain administrator". Of course this answer can't put me off, i am so experienced in call center complaint! I told him i have lodge several complaints earlier, and a year ago, streamyx did block all other smtp, you can only use their smtp, and a few months later, they block port 25 also... for the reason of fight against spam... I really doubt it can work? because if we serious email user can use alternative ports to send mails, so do the spammers...... and ever since they blocked the smtp, my accounts still received 300 spam mails a day from various viagra, replicas suppliers, even educated ah long who send mails...

ok, back to the story again, after me insist on getting a solution one this, Operator Syed have no choice but to do something for me, so, he pretend to check on system... and then some joke happen here.....
He then comfirm some detail of my account for me, and he told me my account appeared offline in streamyx system. then i told him i have no problem browsing webpages, all webpages except to send out mail. He repeated saying my account show offline for few times and some even ridiculous thing is he say i am out of streamyx zone, of course i don't understand what is streamyx zone and he told me my account is a hot spot account and i am out of the coverage zone....

WTF is all these crap??? He simply bullshit something to confuse me is it? Of course not so easy. I told him since when i was upgraded to Hotspot already and he seems not too understand. So, i got really impatient and ask if he knows what is Hot spot...
This bloody dummy told me : We don't know anything about Hot spot, we are only servicing streamyx.....T T"'

At here, we swap position, i am the one who have to troubleshoot Operator Syed 0 knowledge of IT. I just wanna demand on another port which can enable me to send my mail out. and what i encounter is all these nuisance! Operator Syed at most time just remain silence when he can't answer to me and at last he just hang up my call!

So buddies, when you encounter this kind of problem, its no use to call to technical team for help, because, its just we are all limited to one out going server, it has become a bottle neck traffic for outgoing mail. Its just too conjested to be yr turn, what you have to do is just WAIT!!! Nobody can help you, because the operators are trained to be bombarded by millions of unhappy users,  technical teams as they called themselves as are knowing nothings also... forget about talking to someone who knows anything, for exammple like supervisors or manager, its impossible at all!

You can still call them to release your anger if you feel like! hahahahaha

He Vs Me

His dream car is Ferrari while mine is Peugeot 206 2003 version

He can put thousands of dollar into his car while i think RM 10 wiper is expensive.

he wish he can earn enough money to retired at year 40 while i think the best is to continue working to support my ownself.

he wish he can earn another 200-300k so that he can rest for half year while i wish i have another extra 1k for me to travel to cambodia

he wanted to have extra 20-30k per month, i wish i can get another 200-300 per month.

he sleep 3 hours in a day, i work 3 hours in a day.

and most importantly, he work for my dreams and i work only for my dreams.

Even though we have dreams that are miles apart, but that is also the things that put us closer. I love you Baby!

The Loo Ethic

Different countries have different kind of toilets.. Some good some bad. The chinese "no door" toilet (which i dunno if it still exist), the very less public toilets in London which cost you 30p per visit, you can go broke if you are a frequent toilet goer... the singapore toilets that is full of poster to remind you of not misusing it, and also Malaysian's toilet..

The Malaysians also have many kind of toilet, the kampong toilets that located 500m away from your house, the most awesome toilet in our secondary school (i dun have to remind you what you can see inside, right? you can see everything, some even myth to have ghost inside), the r & r toilets beside the highway where you have a full time cleaner just to clean the mirror area and the 1st toilet of the row.. the rest remain dirty, the super luxurious RM2 per entry toilet at KLCC & Gardens, and some private and semi private toilets.

The private one of course refers to the home one's, and some people even have more private one in their room. The public one's, the government has taken up the responsibility to remind our citizen of how to take care of it by publishing "toilet song" on our TV... Now, back to the semi private one, for example - Office's toilet or Restaurant's toilet. It is share among a group of people who practised different loo ethics.

For instants, My company has not many staff who share a toilet, but they are practising soooooooooo annoying loo ethics. There are people who loves to smoke inside the small cubical and left their cigarette butt swimming in the toilet bowl, some even worse is with ashes all over the floor in front of the toilet bowl, with several greyish foot steps on the half wet floor, some very funny creature who loves to wet the whole toilet, especially the seats and do not bother to dry it after use.

To these annoying people, do you think you are the only one who use the loo? what would you feel when you enter to a toilet in these kind of conditions? will you feel as disgust as me when you have to clean up these kind of mess?

Before the "toilet song" on TV can make any awakeness to our people, please learn from your own toilet. If you can do it at home, you can do it elsewhere...
I remembered i asked that why most men i know will go back to their own comfortable toilet to do their big business when needed and when it is not too far~! I got it~!

Moody Day

Today is another moody day for me

Wake up as usual, dress up for work.. Drop mum at her office and then head to my own work place. On my journey to work, can't help myself from thinking negatively. Is it just the small reject last night or the accumulated unhappiness that i have been keeping quiet all these while? Well, it doesn't matter anymore... It still ruined my day.

Busy at work, working on some meeting preparations and didn't really chit chat with other colleagues....  I should be excited isn't it? Our annual dinner is only 2 days away, well... i am not... heard comments on how i would dress up (or over dressed up as described), Ok, i know you are waiting for the moment to embarrasing me. No chance for you.

Workload keep on coming and yet i still have to solved the pending issue with this stupid creature D. He will never leave me in peace for a day at work. His dumbness and irresponsible answer has exceeded my limit of toleration today... I sounded really bad while working with him. Doesn't really matter... everyone knows i hate him in office...

Now, its almost off work time and there are some idle time for me to write something here. Still very very down!!! And i can predict that it will not improve any time of today..

* I ignored many people today and i got ignorance from You too... I wish to just hide in my room for the rest of my day to avoid anymore nuisance for me. Tomorrow will be another day!

Pityful working life

It is soooooo pityful when you have some useless cum pretend to be smart person in your working team. Well, very very sad to announce that i have one of these kind of creature coming from the space... Must be drop out from plannet P (Pig) cause god dun create this kind of creature to make people's life miserable.

Lets call him creature D.. He is such a disaster to have it in your work team.. A super duper pretend to be smart person. Claimed to be know everything but cannot do a single thing... except snaking...
What can you expect from a high rank government servant ler? Awarded with Honour somemore...  Lets not criticise on his service with the government, cause we appreciate working attitute differently.

This creature D really really pissed me off today, basically not only today, most of my working day depending on how much damn i wanna put on him.. well, today is the worst in my lifetime..

I have never come across a people who holds beautiful title in a company which he can be very proud of to introduce himself to the customer but end up rotten inside. we call them "tin kosong" in malay, empty content but sounds big. what a great phrase!! Creature D never really put effort to do anything that related to work. Knew 0 thing of the company operation, what he do is to gather information and make it his credit, and high class despatch (Driving an imported brand car to send around documents and disappear for the rest of the day) and most importantly to polish shoe for the boss.

Back to today's story, i am urging creature D for a long pending solutions for a case. Well, it has been circulated between us for 2 months and as expected, creature D dunno about it. When question on it, the conversations goes like this...

Me: Can you finalize this case for me as boss is questioning about it long time ago.
D: No problem, print out for me and i will do it
Me: Must return by today.
D: Today no, cause my beloved staff is on leave (come from the sane planet one)
After some negotiations...
Me: No lah, Boss request it to be done today. Ignore yr beloved staff and give me the figure. I've finalize everything for you. Now just check if the figure you filled in is correct cause both numbers do not tally.
D: No. I am 100% sure that my figure could not go wrong. Any how, i will wait for my beloved staff to come back tomorrow and clarify with him (Language barrier must be happened, cause he dun understand what is TODAY.)
Me: No, Today. cause it has been pending for long time. 2 months plus. I emailed it
D : My email is not working for 2 months already. I've informed you earlier what... It cannot be open at all. I dun know about this issue at all. You jut give it to me today and dun rush me, give me time to settle it. (I try it with my pc and email inbox pop up infront of me immediately)
A long pause.. I dun want to argue with him and ignore him totally because i have the urge to whack whatever my hand can reach from my table at him. Cool down cool down
He at last pretend to gave in and went for checking on the case. I went to pass him some related document
D: I cannot trace back the record. what i can tell you is the balance we have. (Wtf????? I am not blind, i can see clearly what is the balance there). I really have to wait for beloved staff to trace back for me. Must be the usage figure here got mistake.
Me: Sorry? I thought you just mentioned your figure is 100% correct? Now you find it wrong? How come? (I can't stop myself from being sarcastic)
D: (realise that he say something wrong) Ya, what i mean is i take the result from my guy, i filled in what they give me, must be they wrong lah (If they give you the figure of 100, and you filled in as 99, then you must be having a brain break down, thank you for using your brain to think of excuse to entertain me!)
Me: Whatever!!!!

And end up he still did not reply to me!!! Expected.
What will you do if you have this kind of entertaining colleague??? I can stand no more on him. I really wish he could disappear forever. Creature D, why dun you be kind enough to give me some peaceful life? Return to the defense team, defense yourself from being scolded, defense others from have to clean up your mess, contribute your dumbness to the people who needs it and collect more and more hounour. Thank you.

New Year Resolutionsssssssssss

Things i must do in Year 2009~!

1) Have a nicer and more clean room, neat at least if not too well decorated....

2) More travelling.... i'm doing a 2 new places a year now, maybe add another one more. but BB will be sad cause it means more time away....

3) Debt Free of course --- Only applicable to Credit Card, personal loanshark(Mummy)

4) Less shopping on clothing... Will limit myself to buy not more than 2 pieces of clothing per month.... (i bought almost 20 pieces last month, kinda hard to acheive this)

5)I wanna hate my miserable colleagues less~! Make myself happier at work mah..!!

6) Stop (or maybe less) making BB worry, angry...  (dun talk sarcastically to him, dun release temper on him...)

7) Do some sports or exercise (Second last priority!!!)

8 ) Studyzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (Last priority!!!!!)

God bless me to achieve some of these and i will be a better person this year.
