Daorae Korean BBQ at USJ Taipan

One day after BB's outstation trip, he called me to have dinner at this Korean BBQ restaurant call Daorae in USJ Taipan, Its not hard at all to spot this Restaurant as its easily seen at the T Junction with blinking neon lights.
Daorae have a lot of branches in Malaysia including Hartamas and i found out from blog it even has one in Penang. The USJ taipan one is located on 1st Floor.
BB is already there waiting for me. The have 2 kind of seating option, the normal table or the korean tatami seating table each well equip with the grill tray & hob.
BB is a meat lover, he ordered a BBQ Beef & Squid while i requested to order a bowl of Ginseng Chicken Soup. Korean food usually are served together with a course of refillable appetizer.
Woooosshhh.. the appetizer are mostly braised vege with chilli & vinegar, various kind of vege in Kim chi Style, bean sproud, stir fried vege, braised seaweed, anchovies and 1 i especially like is the sweet & sour potato cubes..
Its a raining evening, so the steaming pot of ginseng chicken soup really helps to warm us up. The soup are served in a stone bowl with 1/2 chicken and there's some grain rice cook together in the soup too..The ginseng taste is so thick it even penetrated into the tender chicken meat~! yummy yummy!

Our main dishes are of course the BBQ Beef and squid. Both are marinated and there's a cook to station at your table to cook just for you. Oooohhh.... feel like a queen.. They'll first heat a bowl of garlic to let the oil absorb the garlic flavor and put in the meat to BBQ. Its cook pretty fast as the meat are cut into small & thin pieces.

There are 2 ways to eat the bbq, you can either eat it just like that, dip in the sauce or wrap it with lettuce and eat like a meat roll... The squid are well cook also, the squid are ealier  marinated with chilli & curry powder (it taste like)..  Ta dah!!! here are the juicy BBQ squid!

Daorae is consider a pricey option for meal, our bill comes to about RM120 for 2 person. But its really worth to give it a try~! Hospitalitly is super good also~
