My First travelogue

Me at last finish writting my UK and Paris blog 2 weeks ago.... its been a delay for 5 months...

Its definitely not easy to write 11 days travelogue.... especially after so many months time... luckily i sapu what ever travel brochure for places i have been....

hmmmmm.... a lot more coming up for me to write about, My Kuantan trip, and the Hanoi trip i just back from Yesterday!!! Maybe a back date Bangkok trip i went somewhere in March last year too!

Craving for Frog Porridge!!!

I suddenly feel so craving for a bowl of steaming hot frog porridge...

Actually has been wanting to eat it since Last year Christmas, didn't have a chance to eat it in Singapore cause my other friend doesn't like it.... And trying few times at Sunway Damansara kopitiam also cannot get.....

The best frog porridge i ever tasted is the Singapore China town frog porridge, first time i was brought by Juliana there, It was a smooth white porridge served with a claypot frog cook in black sauce.. (ala kung poh)... So delicious... The last time me having it was with BB after our drinking session at Clark Quay, we took a cab there in the mid night for supper.... My BB loves it too!!!!!

Short note: BB says his tireness after a hectic day eased after talking to me. So lum!

Valentine Day

This is a back dated post of my 2009 valentine celebration… has been a month ago… No choice, I’ve been busy writing my back dated post for London and Paris trip somewhere October last year…. Me just sooooo lazy….

 14/2 is particularly important for me, as I am one who must celebrate every festive celebration….  Ya, even though I do believe everyday is Valentine if you truly love someone…. But, there must be a day for remembrance… and me even go ask bb if he is gonna give me flower the day before…. Hahahahaha, so tak malu…

But, I only request for a stalk of Rose, You know, for people who’s so keen on celebrations, there are some “my own rules” applied to these dates, like a flower is a must on Valentine, a present is a must on birthday, Christmas also must have present and New Year must have countdown….. hahahahaha

 Instead of spending a whole day walk with no target in a shopping mall, go to congested cinema to watch lame movie, jam all the way and spend on luxury dinner that have nothing more special than a candle lid in the middle of the table… We choose to have lunch… Good that its fall on a Saturday. Bb always let me decide where to have our meal and this time I chose La Bodega in Bangsar Shopping Complex.

 We suppose to met up at there… I took quite a long time to dress myself up for the date thus I arrived later. Bb is so sweet, keep on talking to me while I am driving there… But its ok, you are supposed to do sweet things on this sweet day. I ordered my all time favorite – Paella (Spanish Seafood rice) and I recommended Sangria to bb as drinks…
And BB ordered a Foei Gras (Goose Liver). Sangria is my Favorite cocktail, It’s a mixture of Red wine, brandy and mix fruits.. But BB doesn’t really like it!
 
We were served the Foei Gras first. Its my first time tasting it… I’m only adventurous at place, not food… despite BB’s recommendations, I ought to try it out… It’s just a small paste of goose liver with preserved fruits and soury sauce spread on the baguette… And it’s taste exactly like chicken liver… just buttery texture…. Not bad at all, but I don’t quite understand why its expensive…

 The Paella took more than 40 Mins to be served, Paella is Spanish seafood rice with mouthwatering seafood like Big fat mussels, prawns, squid ring and chicken fillet cubes and capsicums… A big pan for both of us… BB and me both love it!!!!

 

The lunch cost us about RM120+, even though it’s a bit costly for a lunch… but…. I feel so sinful for always going for expensive food.. But I will still continue doing it! (Evil Grin)

 Upon walking back… BB with lightning speed walk to a florist and took a bouquet of flower and pay and hand it to me…..  (BB so shy to give me flower?????) Nvm, and this is how my flower looks like… ( 3 Stalk of roses tie in a not fantastic packaging cost RM40, you business people very clever to make money lor!!!)

 


But the heart counts… so sweet of you BB, even you are load up with tight schedule, you still make effort to celebrate with me, even you are shy of giving a girl flowers you did it for me, and even this is not a super romantic Valentine you tailor made for me, but I don’t mind, cause we have better plan coming!!!

 Oh Ya, Sis have a special celebration as well; her bf brought her for a picnic in the hot sun! hahahahaha, bravo you Yaw!

Special Note: To those BTC anutie(Short form of Hokkien word meaning uneducated people), stop doing kiasu things like over taking my BB's car and stand on 2 parking lots to reserved place for your husband and daughter… No use of driving pretty Camry and Swift but doing car jockey job!!! CCTV’s watching you, God’s watching you!

A nightmare with Streamyx!

Have been on the line with Streamyx phone operator for almost 2 hours and yet still got my problem unsolved!!!

When i first call in to 100, there are options like this, untuk Bahasa Malaysia, tekan 1, for English, press 2... so i pressed 2!

The operator, Name Syed answer me like this : Selamat Pagi TM sedia membantu.

Me: Huh? Aren't you suppose to speakin english?

Syed: Oh ya, what can i help you?

So, i complained to him about my own domain email account are not able to send mails. Actually this kind of problems always happen in my work place, what you have to do is just wait, but thanks to our majesty product manager who complains non stop to my HQ side and i have to at least do something to keep her mouth shut! Please note, i am not an IT support staff in my company, somehow people push this responsibility to me after i did several IT troubleshooting stuff that amazed them.

After listening to my complaint, Operator Syed pretend to understand my problem, and ask a few "seems like related" questions.... and then, he tell me this: "We streamyx are not responsible for any other domain server, please contact your domain administrator". Of course this answer can't put me off, i am so experienced in call center complaint! I told him i have lodge several complaints earlier, and a year ago, streamyx did block all other smtp, you can only use their smtp, and a few months later, they block port 25 also... for the reason of fight against spam... I really doubt it can work? because if we serious email user can use alternative ports to send mails, so do the spammers...... and ever since they blocked the smtp, my accounts still received 300 spam mails a day from various viagra, replicas suppliers, even educated ah long who send mails...

ok, back to the story again, after me insist on getting a solution one this, Operator Syed have no choice but to do something for me, so, he pretend to check on system... and then some joke happen here.....
He then comfirm some detail of my account for me, and he told me my account appeared offline in streamyx system. then i told him i have no problem browsing webpages, all webpages except to send out mail. He repeated saying my account show offline for few times and some even ridiculous thing is he say i am out of streamyx zone, of course i don't understand what is streamyx zone and he told me my account is a hot spot account and i am out of the coverage zone....

WTF is all these crap??? He simply bullshit something to confuse me is it? Of course not so easy. I told him since when i was upgraded to Hotspot already and he seems not too understand. So, i got really impatient and ask if he knows what is Hot spot...
This bloody dummy told me : We don't know anything about Hot spot, we are only servicing streamyx.....T T"'

At here, we swap position, i am the one who have to troubleshoot Operator Syed 0 knowledge of IT. I just wanna demand on another port which can enable me to send my mail out. and what i encounter is all these nuisance! Operator Syed at most time just remain silence when he can't answer to me and at last he just hang up my call!

So buddies, when you encounter this kind of problem, its no use to call to technical team for help, because, its just we are all limited to one out going server, it has become a bottle neck traffic for outgoing mail. Its just too conjested to be yr turn, what you have to do is just WAIT!!! Nobody can help you, because the operators are trained to be bombarded by millions of unhappy users,  technical teams as they called themselves as are knowing nothings also... forget about talking to someone who knows anything, for exammple like supervisors or manager, its impossible at all!

You can still call them to release your anger if you feel like! hahahahaha
