As i have no experience with aquatic creatures, i put a lot of effort to learn about lobsters.... hoping that they'll grow up.
Robstee is a shy one, it have a different size claw on both size... Robster is a more active lobster, how to differenciate them? One side of Robster's Antenna is shorter... Robster is naughty, always bully its mate, and i suspect they attack and eat the small fishes also... To avoid them to fight day and night, i separated them, i move Robster to the other tank. The first night at the new home, Robster did some amazing things, it climbs out from the tank, and trying to run away... The next day he was no more in the tank, i was panic and searching around for Robster, at last i found him beneath my work table... roll itself up, dried... i thought he was dead but he survive after many hours out of water.
I was so happy Robster isn't dead, after putting him back into the tank, he was quiet for few days, probably scared of almost step into the hell... this scenario doesn't stay long... after few days, he started to bite off the artificial grass mat in the aquarium.... Have no choice, and remove the grass mat, and i transfer Robstee in the same tank also..
2 Weeks ago, Rostee change its shell to this beautiful lobster...
and i am waiting for Robster turn to change it shell to a bigger lobster. Even though Robster is smaller in size, he still bully Robstee all the time...
Yesterday. the filter in the tank spoilt, i have no choice but put them temporary in a smaller tank, used to be Robstee home last time... once got into the tank, Robstee started to attack Robster, till he hide himself behind the rocks... I was worry for his safety last night, and i found Robster dead this morning...
And the worst thing is i saw Robstee eating his mate corpse this morning, his legs and antenna has been eaten by Robstee...
Feel so sad seeing this scene, Robster, please RIP... you'll always be in my memory...
Robster
